Very personable waitress. Delicious salad. Quiche wasn't hot. We sat in the semi covered area outside. It was brisk on Mother's day. I'd go back

With 24 hrs to go, acme canceled our birthday reservation with no explanation and no offer for anything to make up for it, just “sorry.” Too late to find another great place to eat. Really disappointed. Didn’t expect this from a nice local spot. Won’t risk wasting an evening with them again.

My daughter wanted to go to Acme for her 16th birthday. We were excited for a great celebration on the patio. I called the restaurant to see if they do anything special for birthdays. They said, “Yes, we can do a candle on a cupcake for her.” How fun! When it came time for dessert, I discretely asked the server if she was aware of the call. Yes, she was. When dessert time came, I kept waiting for them to bring the cupcake. I finally had to excuse myself to ask the server what was going on. “Oh,” she said, “we don’t do that. We put a candle on a dessert you order.” I was directed to the woman whom I spoke with on the phone who generally apologized that she messed up but, basically, too bad. Well, this was very awkward. No surprise for my daughter on her 16th birthday. The dinner had, by now, moved beyond the point where I could make something happen without it being awkward and disjointed. I have owned small businesses and have always put the client first. If I messed up, I made it right. Not Acme… “too bad” for my daughter
viola peachy
Only one entree that doesn’t have meat in it. It’s a good tasting item but this is not a vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant whatsoever, find other options if you are veggie!!

There are very few vegetarian or vegan options and the prices are ridiculous considering what you are actually getting. These criticisms aren’t even the tip of the iceberg; the way the business has chosen to respond to many SA allegations directed at the creep that runs the place and their lack of compliance to any worker demands is disgusting. Giving a 15$ an hour wage doesn’t excuse this behavior. Go across the street to spotted dog for a delicious, locally focused, more affordable menu with much larger portions and options to satisfy everyone in your party (they also treat their workers extremely well
