The best food in Anchorage!!! Maybe best meal I’ve ever had. Both of our meals were incredible. Interesting flavors and cooked so well. The atmosphere is a little cheesy but don’t let it lead you astray. The service was also excellent. 100% recommend.

Hands down, best food in this city (Anchorage)! It’s fine dining, but even more so it’s an experience. With every bite, I found myself in a tranquil sense of aw and amazement. Just unbelievable how the flavors melt in your mouth, and are so mindfully put together to make these dishes. I’ve been twice now, and it does not disappoint. My date and I agree that it’s the best meal we’ve ever had.

I had a fantastic experience in Altura on a Sunday night for a dinner. Being 1 h in the city and first time in Alaska , i am so grateful that I stopped by this place.
The whole experience is great from front lady who seated me, to Cary who gave spot on suggestions on food, wine pairing and just a very nice person to talk to!
Highlight from the menu for me is prawns bisque-tasted like nothing I’ve tried before!
Will definitely come back here!

Altura has become our restaurant for special occasions with our family. Going there is always an experience. The service is good, the wine selection is excellent and the food is to die for.
The owner and chef sources locally and always has fresh appetizers, entrees and desserts on the menu to choose from. Their soups alone are worth going here. It really is a culinary experience, highly recommend.

One of if not the best dining experiences I have ever had. The halibut was delicious and the pork belly was so tender it fell apart at the fork. Wine selection was delightful with a perfect variety for any discerning pallet. Atmosphere was pleasant with tasteful decor and staff was attentive and accommodating every step of the way. I would definitely recommend stopping by if your ever in anchorage hands down a phenomenal addition to this city.
