Really nice people, staff, manager, server and the vibe is terrific. The building is beautiful. Unfortunately, only a few items were tasty. I write this in hopes that it will help change for the better. Crab dip is so over-seasoned that you could not taste crab. The smoked flavor is so strong that the ribs, chicken and brisket ALL tasted the same. I could not tell which meat was in my mouth. The barbecue sauces helped mask the over-smoked flavor. The ribs were tough and should be prepared so they slide off the bone boys. Great cornbread and pickle fries and soft pretzels. Ease up on the smoke flavoring. Let the taste of the food come forth. Then, your 5 stars will come easy.

Ask for the cornbread, but be careful, it might be that you stuff yourself with it! The food is good, the atmosphere is good and the location couldn't be better. We parked on one of the side streets a few blocks away (where you can find free parking, especially south of the boardwalk area) and walked to the restaurant and boardwalk area and spent a nice evening there. The ribs there were fantastic and my son raved about the burgers. We've been here every time on vacation and it has never disappointed. A good value, made better because it's on 'the beach'.

Bartender was great with a number of interesting drinks incl pear martini and orange crush. There was a wait to be seated even with a number of empty tables, so drinks at the bar fit right in. Suspect they may be short on help like a number of restaurants at the shore. Burger was huge and cooked perfectly. Fresh green beans and fries were great. Shared a combo platter with ribs and sausage with my daughter and it was huge. We eat here yearly when we visit Bethany and t remains one of our favorite restaurants.

We usually have dinner at this place, but dinner is much more busy than brunch, so we reserved a table for brunch. They have amazing combinations between breakfast items and their meat choices from dinner. Everything we had was delicious. Their cornbread pancakes are a must- get one to share with the table!

Awesome food, good service, great environment. One of those quiet places. We really enjoyed this place. And close to the beach so it was easy to walk down the beach after a good dinner
