I was traveling to work out of town and stopped here to get some food. It has an old western feel to it and funny signs hanging on the walls. I got a burger to go and it was excellent! The staff was super awesome ☺️

Western decor will greet you, but the food will reward you! I had their top sirloin steak and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare!! A nice tossed salad and a baked potato are also included. Full bar too. Well known and deservedly so, this restaurant provides good food with fast and friendly service.

I had Rib Eye steak, baked potato & Caesar salad. Steak cooked rare as ordered. Served hot, was very tender and tasty. Salad was cold, fresh and crisp.
Husband had Prime Rib, baked potato and veggies. Meat was very disappointing. It was tough and full of grizzle. Would not order again.
We would still go back another time to try it again because my dinner was so good.

Dining at Billygan's Roadhouse was a unique experience. So, your served a bowl of peanuts when seated and the peanut shells are thrown on the floor, lol. I haven't experienced this since the late 70's at a bar in North Portland. I ordered the steak sandwich and french fries. The steak sandwich was very good with nice tender chunks of steak. And the french fries were nice and crispy just the way I like them. With everything being so expensive these days, the meal was reasonably priced.

We tried this restaurant several years ago before moving here and were very delighted that we had "discovered" it. Service has always been fantastic. The food is best described as "hit & miss". Sandwiches and burgers have always been quite good, the entrees, inconsistent. For example, sometimes their chicken fried steak is excellent, other times, tasteless. Nevertheless, we still enjoy going there every month or so. As a side note, their yeast rolls are outstanding! I could almost make a meal on just those!
