I was riding through and so happened to stop at this exit and this was the first place that came up on Google. And it was like I won a prize. It was Sunday so it was buffet style but it was some of the best food I've had in a while. Loved it and the people were very nice and I was treated very well. I loved this place.

Buffet was good. Fried chicken was good. In my opinion was overpriced and not quite worth the 19 dollars a piece we paid. Also parking was hard to get with the country club being busy and them sharing the lot.

We ordered several items and all were very salty. The salt just overpowered the food, which was a shame because the fried chicken and the fried mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The waffles for my chicken and waffles came out soggy and undercooked even though their color was golden. Also note that they are serving on paper plates and condiments are little packages like from fast food places. This overlooks a golf course and the view was the best part of the meal. I would not go back.

The quantity and quality of the food is amazing. I always have enough leftover for the next meal. The food is freshly prepared and as delicious as my grandmother's. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back

Blue Isle is a hidden gem. Worthy of a stop near Red River Gorge and Lexington. Good homestyle food served with a very friendly smile. Definitely stop. We had lunch with a group of 6 and everyone had great food.
