Food was great. Appetizer we shared was fried cheese and marinara was so good. One ordered a burger was good.. Other order was fried fish & sweet potato fries. Amazing. Love that they had malt vinegar. Great meal, will return and suggest others do so as well.

This place has been around forever. The decorum revolves around the marina and Maritime activity. If you bring your caught fish or game, they will cook it for you. The food was decent, nothing spectacular. The staff was decent and friendly enough, nobody went out of their way so much as they were efficient. on a Monday evening when a lot of the other places are closed, this is a place to go grab a bite and take in the atmosphere.

Food was good and portions were fair, and service was great, even on a busy Saturday night.
We had a party of four and ordered the excellent cheese curds and garlic/parm chips for appetizers. Very good 👍
I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was excellent. The buttery, bacon grits were so good and rich 😋
Fish and chips, fish tacos, and prime rib sandwich were also ordered. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Ordered a couple of deserts that were good as well.
Server always was attentive to our table’s needs and was super friendly even when it was obvious she had her hands filled.

Let me start off by saying, we have never walked out of a restaurant, but it happened today.
This place used to be great however, to my understanding there have been changes in management/ chef that occurred sometime last year. Since then, we have noticed a less than usual quality to the experience, which is somewhat understandable given a change.
When we arrived today(3 of us), it was not particularly busy at all. We sat inside. We were given menus and told that she would be back to take our drink order. When we ordered the drinks , we asked to place the entire order as our son was getting tired. 20 minutes later, the drinks arrive. (Water, a bottle of beer and a kids sprite that was given to us in a large cup with no lid) We were finally checked on 20 minutes later to be told that our food would be out soon, never asked to refill our near empty drinks. We continued to wait until we noticed another table who arrived much after us receive their food. At this point we have been there for about an hour. We left payment for the single drinks and left.
During the summer, we come here almost every weekend after the beach. We are sorry to say, we will not be eating here again.

Our experience at Boat House was phenomenal! Ricky our server was speedy and a super cool dude, kept our drinks full and made sure to give us a frequent pulse on where our food was in the kitchen. During our experience, the owner visited our table as well and chatted with us - very kind man and you can tell how passionate he is about the restaurant. It's one thing to have fantastic quality of food, but when the service matches, you can't go wrong. KEEP IT UP!
