Nice enough place. Outdoor seating if wished. We sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome. We ordered food and we were expecting great things for the prices. Mine was average but my friend's steak was not good. The management was great in trying to make it right though. I rated it only a 3 star but not Because of the workers. Nice atmosphere here. If I lived there I would probably give them another chance without hesitation.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would, our experience was that wonderful.
First our sever, Kelli, was sensational. The entire staff was incredible, but our server was such a wonderful young lady that really set the tone for a special evening with her personality and knowledge of the menu.
Second, the food was perfect. My Wife enjoyed a seafood pasta that was extremely flavorful and LOADED with amazing seafood. She could only finish about half of it. I ordered Prime Rib, which was the best I’ve ever had… I also was only to eat about half of my meal…so we didn’t even touch the order or lobster Mac and cheese we ordered as a side.
I’d highly recommend Buffalo Block to anyone wanting a special night out, it was an incredible evening.

This was a very good restaurant and one of the best steak in my opinion in Billings. The thing I will say brings it down a star is the price. You're looking at ~65 a steak with no sides and the sides are around 10.

We only came in for some drinks and the wild game platter, but the service at the bar was exceptional.
My wife even commented "even when the bartender couldn't possibly know anyone is looking, she is always smiling". The drinks were fairly priced and quite good, but the platter was exceptional.
Honestly, put that Elk Filet on the main menu so I can have that on my next visit, please!!

We just went out for drinks and appetizers and our waitress, Cassandra, was fantastic. She was professional, efficient and friendly. The martinis and oysters were fantastic. All of the staff were kind, friendly, and hard working, which seems to be so rare these days. Definitely one of our favorite places in town!
