Our first trip there. A mom and pop style diner that has a good varied menu. We got fresh yeast rolls with real butter (something Texas Roadhouse needs to note) and cold draft beer to start. A nice green salad with homemade French dressing led off liver and onions for her and chicken fried steak for me. She loved hers and this was possibly the best CFS I’ve had in Texas. Dinner was followed by a delicious Key Lime Tart that made us wish we had gotten two instead of sharing. Service was very good, as well.

Nice atmosphere food was good for the most part. Not sure where the yellow gravy on chicken fried steak came from. Prefer white gravy

The young waitress asked us what we wanted to drink and we told her, it took about 20+ minutes to get our drinks. The hamburger steak was extra small because my hamburger patty was bigger than it, my hamburger bun was sweet. The waiter told me they don't have mustard which they do and they didn't want to refill our drinks until we asked. With the hamburger steak dinner we never got the salad that was supposed to come with it. Overall... The foods not that great and service sucks...

First time ever at this restaurant. Apparently told it has been many years at this location in Rosenberg. We arrived with 8 folks for a birthday dinner at 7 pm. Had to wait an hour to even be seated. They had 2 huge parties who decided to be rude and sit around and chit chat after eating knowing others were waiting for the tables to be seated during very busy dinner time. They closed at 9 pm on Saturdays which is ridiculous to say the least for an indoor eating facility. They are open until 10 pm on Fridays. Seriously u think Friday is busier than Saturday dinner crowds? We finally were seated at 8 pm. Before seating us I told the host guy so we are just now being seated we don't want to be rushed out of here if u close at 9 pm because u could not push other tables together to seat 8 folks prior to 8 pm. He said no worries we stay open as late as they need in serving their customers. I had 5 elderly folks with me so they eat slow and that was my concern. It took us another hour before we received our food. They ran out of baked potatoes for two of my aunts and offered mashed potatoes as a consolation item. No chives for potatoes..wow. I will have to say though that their food was delicious and fresh for being overpriced for comfort food. I don't see myself going here anytime soon if they can't accommodate folks in a timely manner. Don't get me started on their lack of parking space in front or side of their restaurant. None to speak off for sure. For the monies u charge you should have ample parking and seating inside. Big fail on this restaurant for sure.

Food was good. Service was ok. It took awhile before anyone even took out drink order. Once our server finally came, it was better.
