I had sweetbreads appetizer. Awesome! Skatekite and scallops entree. Outstanding! Sacher Torte for dessert. Chocolate Heaven! Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend and I'll be going back.

Buttermint is such a great date night spot!!! Anytime my husband and I have a free evening together (which is not often) I'm begging him to take me here! Such great service and great options for dishes that aren't offered elsewhere.

Great food and service, a really lovely evening. One suggestion, to better implement their coat check. I had my coat fall off the back of my chair once, and saw several others do the same.

Black Shoe hit it out of the park with this one! This upscale take on a mid-century Wisconsin staple was well worth the special trip. With warm decor, friendly staff, and a free coat check you'll feel right at home in this little hideaway. Their single page menu is crafted with high quality dishes that are sure to please the adventurous eater in any friend group. Glad to see this one added to the well respected Black Shoe family of restaurants.
