Never would’ve stopped if I hadn’t read the reviews! A very nice introduction to Wyoming. We split the barbecue sampler. Don’t miss the sweet potato fries-they are AWESOME! Waitress was very friendly and took good care of us (although I think she was the only server.) Good luck reading the sign 😳.

We were traveling through, and looking for a good home style meal.
The food was acceptable. My wife enjoyed her burger, and the chicken fried steak seemed like it was done in-house. But it was lacking flavor. Needed more salt and seasoning.
But the place has seen better days. The toilet seat in the men's room should have been replaced 20+ years ago. Go to Home Depot already and buy a new toilet seat. It was super gross.

As stated in previous reviews, Don’t look for a sign that says Cactus Jacks, you won’t find it. However there isn’t much around the area to mistake it for anything else.
Nice quite western style restaurant. Server was helpful and on point. Food was good and filling!
Understanding this is Rawlins, Wyoming makes it easier to understand why places are rated so highly.
I didn’t visit the bar side of the restaurant, however they from talking to locals in the town. Drinking is about the only thing to do in this town. So as long as the drinks stay full, I have no doubt it’s a nice place to be based off of the restaurant side.

The food was the best. And there was more then I could eat. My wife got the prime rib. It was so tender and favorable.
I go the sliced brisket with the southwest bbq sauce. There was more brisket on the plate then I could eat. The service was great as well. The young lady took very good care of us. She came back and checked on us several time's. Very pleasant dinner. And I recommend getting the beans as one of your side dishes. You will not be disappointed

It was a great little place to eat, great service and food. One issue I ran into is the fact that I paid with card not cash and I ended up getting charged and extra twelve dollars. The company was great and did refund me, but definitely something to look out for. Other wise an overall happy atmosphere with great food!
