Wow! This place has some awesome food and service! Our waitress Rhiannon kept on top of our refills and we struck up a nice conversation. Super cool place inside and out. We will be back!
We ordered the pickle spears to start which were awesome! I love the fact they are spears and not chips because pickles are delicious and I want the whole pickle.
I ordered the 3 white meat chicken platter with green beans and mashed potatoes. I also had them roll the chicken around in the sweet heat sauce which was the icing on the cake. The green beans had a savory seasoning and the mashed potatoes were yummy too.
My boyfriend ordered the 4 chicken tender basket with French fries. He also had his chicken tossed in the sweet heat sauce. The chicken tenders were large and he said they are the best he’s had in a very long time. The French fries were crunchy but soft at the same time with a light seasoning.

I’ve passed by this place many times. I finally stopped in for lunch after hearing about it from The Next Round sports podcast. I ordered the tamales as an appetizer and the chicken sandwich for my meal. Both were fantastic. I highly recommend!

Our first time here but not our last. The chicken and catfish were amazing! Service was great as well. Cheyenne was very knowledgeable about the menu and kept a close check on us. We will be back soon!

Loved the fried chicken breast, just the right amount of crunchy coating. The chicken breast was well seasoned but for some reason the wing that came on the 2 piece plate was lacking salt. Another in our group had the chicken liver plate. They were plentiful but a little overcooked. The sides, beans and slaw, that came with the plates were satisfying. We had 2 appetizers for the table, 6 hot tamales and fried pickle spears, both were excellent.

It was good. I loved the fried jalapenos. Don't understand why they say world famous chicken. It was good, but not "world famous" in my opinion.
