The Rehoboth food scene is excellent but they have earned their spot. The food continues to get better each time - never disappointed. The cocktail list and beer selection is among the best in the area. Would highly recommend the beer cocktails.
I’ve also now hosted two events here and they do such an amazing job with them. Everyone who attended had an amazing experience.
The best part might be ambience, it’s a perfectly designed and decorated beach restaurant in my opinion.
We will continue to be two loyal customers to C&M

We read the reviews and checked out the menu & prices on google before going; NO HAPPY HOUR, NO $15 LOBSTER!! $30 LOBSTER TODAY JUNE 23, 2022. So don't go by the prices listed on the menu on this site-outdated! Oysters on the half shell, crab dip, lobster Mac n cheese, burger for the non seafood lover.
Live music right at opening 4pm was a great addition.

During an off-season trip to Rehoboth we were hard-pressed to find an open establishment for dinner with most places several weeks from opening for the season. So we chose Chesapeake & Maine on a whim.
Because of the scarcity of open restaurants, this establishment was hopping. We ended up seated at a high top table directly in front of the door which was a tactical error on a cold and windy post-Nor'easter day.
The menu isn't overwhelming but what they offer they do well.
The waitstaff was charming and helpful, offering suggestions and answering questions.
The restaurant name reveals it's offerings with coastal dishes from the Chesapeake bay and the state of Maine.
We started with the crab dip which was served piping hot with fresh lump crabmeat and a cheese and cream sauce. It was delicious!
For entree we enjoyed a classic crab cake sandwich with an authentic Maryland lump crab cake. The portion was generous and bursting with the flavors of the bay.
While we were there during the tail-end of the off season, the restaurant was serving whole Maine lobster for 15 bucks which is crazy, but in a way that was a huge hit with the patrons partaking.
They have a full bar and a menu of craft beverages that are well-poured.
Prices are mid-range to slightly high but you get what you pay for and it's money well-spent.
Chesapeake & Maine is a great eatery with amazing service and delicious food in a cozy yet lively environment.

Awesome team, food, and grog. Specializes in craft cocktails, beers, and seafood from the Chesapeake & Maine areas. Great atmosphere and history. Next to the Dogfish Head pub and gift shop. Closer to 5=star rating, a must do if you are on the area.

My wife and I went there for dinner on a Friday. I had the Crab Cakes (delicious!) and my wife had the Lobster Roll (delicious as well). Both dinners were quite tasty and the service was top notch. We ate at Salt Air the previous night and Chesapeake & Maine's Crab Cakes were far superior and also larger as well.
We will be visiting Chesapeake & Maine again in the future. See pic of crab cakes, sorry but I'd already started to eat them.
