This is a solid local eatery with lots of choices and good home style cooking. I'm a Marylander who is picky about crab cakes and these are above average for a very reasonable price. Not local blue crab but still very tasty. The staff there are very friendly and kind and they do a great job of providing vegetarian options for my wife. We have carried out and dined in and it has always been very good.

1st time visiting the Cottage Cafe and I'll be back when visiting Bethany Beach. Very nice selection of seafood, steak, and burgers. Pricing is comparable to other beach eateries. Portions are very nice in size, staff is very friendly and efficient. Compliments to the chef for the delicious special of the day, scallop and shrimp mac and cheese! Creamy seafood goodness. The cream of crab and Manhattan crab soup blend was a very nice treat. Worth the stop.

Nice venue we've visited multiple times. Service and speed of food pep very good. We tipped appropriately. First time ordering a specialty burger. Large & cooked well But juicy burgers need to be served on nicely toasted bun as we requested... Rather we got soggy bun that forced us to eat burger with knife & fork... So easy to fix this chef. We'll be back.

The food is amazing and the service was exceptional! Tobi was a great waiter. My husband had a burger with crab on it, and said it was the best burger he's ever had! Their mini breads are delicious, especially the coconut one. The nutty berry salad was so good, filled with so many awesome flavor combinations.

Here for a quick vacation and found this place online. It didn't disappoint. Food was fantastic and service was great. The manager made sure to come back to check on us because we had a larger group. I would definitely recommend this place for families or bigger groups.
