I've lived in grand forks for 10 years and it was the first time I eaten there, they now have a regular customer. Small independent coffee shop, food and service was very good, not the same old chain places. It was perfect, 5 star in my eyes! Being an over the road truck driver, we appreciate places like that, hard to come by.

I have finally met my match when it comes to breakfast. I have had chicken fried steak all over the Midwest and nothing compares to Darcy's. The portions are huge and the gravy may be the best sausage gravy I have ever had. The various hot sauce flavors are also a nice touch.
I will be back to try and conquer this huge breakfast.

Great local diner! I've been here a few times and the food is great. You need to plan for a little wait because there aren't many seats inside. Just put your name on the list and wait in the car until they call you. Make you you try the pancakes with your meal. There are rotating special pancakes like pumpkin, all-American, cinnamon roll, and red velvet! They are all fantastic!

Always great food at this local landmark named after a great man! The new owners have not disappointed in the least.

Drove over an hour from Fargo to eat at Darcy's Cafe they had exceptional ratings and I have to say I agree with every one of them. The service was phenomenal and the food was so good it was unbelievable it was very different. The chicken-fried steak was as big as a plate and I found no Grizzle in it at all. The gravy has a maple flavor it is very good it's just not my cup of tea. The portions there are very large my bacon was cooked perfectly as well as my eggs. This place is very small but I can only imagine how many people wait to get in here. I got there right before they closed and they happily still served my husband and I.
