We dined at Element 112 recently, and decided to have the Tasting Menu. While each of the courses was well-executed, we were disappointed to learn that these were not exclusive dishes created by the chef to create a special experience. Instead they were just very tiny portions of selections from the main dining menu -- which itself is pretty uninspiring.
Altogether, the quantity of food provided was sufficient. But you're ultimately paying $125 for what amounts to a sampler platter spread out over a couple of hours.
Also be aware that Element 112 adds a 20% surcharge to your bill "in lieu of a tip," which is only mentioned in very small print at the bottom of the menu.
For a restaurant that plays at being a "gourmet dining experience," they need to do better.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner with friends. Haven't been here in a few years, they have changed up the menu to offer some more casual, lower priced items. The lemon drop martini had a vodka infused lemon popsicle floating in it, and the patio had a lovely atmosphere. So good! Highly recommend.

Amazing service and high quality food. A Toledo gem! The gnocchi is some of the best I’ve ever had and the filet was perfect.

Element 112 was amazing once again tonight! We love this restaurant! The attention to detail is always there. The food melts in your mouth with a perfect symphony of flavor! The service is exceptional. We enjoyed getting to know Ashley and Hannah tonight! They were very personable, knowledgeable, and were a perfect compliment.
