Visited 11 months ago and never reviewed but now is a good time as I plan to visit there next month. Had a post bday dinner for my husband, who happens to be a chef. The food was delicious, just enough to satisfy my appetite. The drinks were superb. I mean they did the damn thing on those drinks. I tasted all of the liquor and I’m a drinker. The ambiance was amazing. Unfortunately we couldn’t go to the rooftop due to closure as they were hosting an event for a local company. Next month will visit the rooftop. Hoping to update the review and give it 5 stars if all goes well. Thank you!! 😁

The ambiance is absolutely stunning. Beautiful lights, spacious, and clean. The food is absolutely NOT authentic Mexican food. What a huge disappointment to even hear the fact that Horchata is not served anymore to please the palette of the neighborhood. Why call it a Mexican spot if there’s not genuine feel the beauty of its food and culture? The guacamole, drinks, and sweet plantains are great… that’s about it. Huge disappointment on the authenticity of its name. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food go to Bridgeport.

Best service experience I’ve had in CT in a while. Waitress on the roof was lovely, host was making our kids crack up, and even the food runner was super sweet and chatty. Added bonus: the food was speedy and delicious and the rooftop is a great scene. Will be back with our two little ones many times

We had the tropical survivor margarita, sangria, guacamole, emapanadas, and chicken, Al pastor, and beef tacos. All of our food and drinks were delicious. The restaurant was well decorated, clean, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is really good and the food is great, however the rooftop is a totally different experience. While the atmosphere is really nice, the food is overpriced and it’s not the same quality as the main dining room. Also, the service is not that great unfortunately. The waiters work hard and are nice, but it feels like they might be understaffed. It took 25 minutes to get tequila on the rocks, two times… We ate most of our food and one of us finished a drink before the first drink for the other person even came to the table. Also the ceviche was disgusting. The fish was literally inedible. I told the waiter that and they didn’t remove it from the bill. All in all, disappointed and didn’t feel worth the big bill at all
