The three star rating isn't because of the food, which is really good. What is at issue is how you are rushed through 1) picking a drink without even looking at the menu or knowing what drinks are available before you sit down 2) literally getting 3 minutes to decide on your order, and 3) being served by more than one waiter or waitress. Rushing people in and out of your establishment is not a good business model. I understand you want to make money, but you'd have better luck if you gave your customers a little more time to choose what they want and not be pestered to finish their meal. If you address these issues I will consider coming back inside, but for the time being I'm sticking with carryout.

Was unable to give zero stars. I dont know what Dave is famous for but it can't be BBQ. I'm from central Texas and wouldn't feed this "stuff" to my dog. First of all were is the smoke??? There was no smoke and no smoke smell so you have to ask, where is the smoke flavor from or how old is this meat??. Beans were full of sugar, cornbread full of sugar, asked for pickles and onions sugar sugar. I had the "Texas" brisket, that is not how we cook brisket. I think it was baked in the oven. Had a weird texture. The only thing that was good was the sweet tea, other than that yuck!!!!!!!!! Go to McDonald's or Wendy's just anywhere else.

The food and service were spectacular!! An amazing establishment that I visit whenever possible. Everything is what you would expect from one of the best restaurants in Billings!

The service was great, our waitress was so nice. However the food was absolutely terrible. We spent over $60 to have the most disappointing food which I was not expecting. We love the famous Dave's chains and usually the food does not disappoint. My mashed potatoes were incredibly stale tasting. Our briskets were bland and tasted old and my corn on the Cobb was mushy. So disappointing.

At first I was all 'why is Dave famous? ' but after eating there I really enjoyed it. I'm gonna name my first boy 'Dave's, and he will love bbq.
