An Ames and North Grand Mall institution. One of the very few surviving original mall businesses. The staff is always good, the food is great, service is usually pretty quick, prices are very reasonable. A bit short on atmosphere, but it's a great family eatery.

Always good food and the owner is very hands on ensuring food and service is good. We love the food and have tried most everything on the menu, all good. He also caters 😊You need to go on Friday for the prime rib, it's so good.

Great little hole in the wall that has been around for a long time. Gyros are great. Service is great. Also, BEST wings in town. Hands down.

There were 2 shrimp shell pieces mixed in with my fries. Unfortunately I didn’t see the pieces until I had eaten most of my food. I had a patty melt and my partner had a gyro so there was absolutely no reason for shrimp to have come in contact with our food in any capacity. It felt like an allergy hazard and it was definitely off-putting to the point where I didn’t finish my food. Also a random guy was walking around the restaurant asking if we ate which was confusing because they were in gym shorts and a baseball cap and no apron or uniform to indicate that they were in any way affiliated with the restaurant. Just a very bizarre experience. On the plus side, our waitress was very kind, and the service was fast.

Favorite family restaurant at great location in the mall. Customer service was excellent. Food was delicious. Best lamb ever!
