We come here when we are in town for the people as much as the great food. We are truck drivers and only get back to Green Bay every 3-4 months. The last time we were at the Golden Basket was in February.
We came in this morning and Suella came right to the table with coffee and made sure she had the French Vanilla creamer my husband always used. It is just so amazing to go to a restaurant that makes you feel like you are “going home”. The entire staff here is exactly like that. The waitress always chat and catch us up on what is going on in the area. We feel comfortable and relaxed here.
The Golden Basket is so far above many restaurants because they have both Amazing Food and Staff that knows how to have that 5 minute relationship with customers that ensures you want to come back again.

Really enjoyed my breakfast. The specials are a good value. Not the best pancakes I've ever had but not to bad. The service was very good. Friendly and fast.
Second visit. This time for lunch. My friend and I loved our stir fry and lasagna. The soups are fabulous and a small desert was included. Service was on top of everything. Great visit.

4 adults, 2 kids. 3 app, 6 meals and 5 desserts. Under 120.00. server was on top of everything. Can't believe the bill. I thought it was wrong. Left huge tip. Great food.

Always a good meal here and never a complaint. Be prepared to waddle home!!! Very friendly staff. Good food at good prices considering the current inflation. We will go back for sure.
Drinks with cats
So good, came here yearly throughout my childhood on the annual family trip to see relatives in WI, and every year it was delicious. 18 years later, it's still delicious and the staff are as friendly as before too. The gyro platter and the gyro sandwich were always my favorites as a kid, and they both are just good as I remember.
