This was a nice little chill spot with r&b music who also have hookas. The food and drinks were great and the service was speedy. The only thing i didn't care for was that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity, even when it's one person.

The service is awesome! And the food is even better. Now I have to say if you are in a hurry this may not be the first choice. But, if you have some time the vibe is fantastic! The old school music is great. It really is a nice hang out for family time or a girls night out. When I tell you soul food at its best that’s what I mean. I had a party of 9! 1 toddler, 1 child under the age of 10, 3 teens, and 4 adults. We ordered everything from chicken fingers and fries, to lamb chops, chicken salad, to Salmon, to pasta. The presentation was excellent and the flavors were on point. Homemade sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese was so close to my momma’s it brought back childhood memories. My mom made the best Mac n cheese in the world as far as I was concerned and nobody else could come close to it. Grille 55 is on point. Now be aware of these 2 things: They charge $10 to park in the small parking area in front of their establishment or you can park at the Giant Eagle and walk over for free if you don’t mind walking. Also for large parties they will include gratuity in the bill. You have no option.

The food was good fried green tomatoes seasoned and coated wonderfully, soul type roll was ok, lamb chops were juicy and delicious, salmon was flaky and had great flavor. Sides are taste homemade in the best way. The music is newer rap and was a little loud for the volume of customers. Grille 55 is a must try....

Great food, clean bathrooms, great music! Valet during certain hours but understandable! Black owned! Lamp chops perfect! Garnish was out of these world! I met the cook who went to culinary school! So i can see the love ! Soul food egg rolls are delicious! Yams best I ever had!
