Good, just different. The pie is very saucy...their style is having it on top along with the cheese. I thought it was interesting, but not my thing.
Ordered a cheese, pepperoni, and sausage/pepper. Peppers tasted a bit too sweet. Pepperoni was good. Their sauce is more sweet than savory, and I think there is too much of it.
Anyway, not bad. Just not what I usually like.

Overall the pizza is average. But my rating comes from the customer service. I went it to pick up my pizza and the gentleman in front of me ordered 2 slices of pizza as the employee rang him up the price was $8. The customer was upset due to the price and said that’s ok I’ll go somewhere else and proceed to leave. I would have done the same $8 for two slices is not worth it, I could understand if they were larger slices but they were normal. Anyway, this is the part that got me, the employee started to laugh and yell across the dining room “hey he left, the guy left” as both employees were laughing. Not very professional could have handle the situation better and could have been more customer friendly.

I love the saucy pizza at grottos. The boardwalk bar is great too.

We eat Grotto Pizza pretty much everyday that we're in Rehoboth. Great food, great service, and very sentimental.
