One word AMAZING! The seafood is outstanding, the service is great, they have a valet in the parking garage right next door. They have a great selection of wine, and a really good raw bar. The prices are on the higher side but well worth it. This place is in my top 3 favorites.

Recent visits post-covid show some differences in style of service and management but Hemenway’s is again tried and true. Every time I introduce someone to this restaurant, they are thrilled. Made the mistake of bringing someone who didn’t understand good living. That just makes a downer for the whole night…even for the waitstaff. Stay with people that are uplifting and fun. Hemenway’s does the rest with great food such as the baked stuffed shrimp, grilled steak, or fresh seafood flown in that morning. Been coming here for most of my life. Always a great experience (with the right people ;)!

Lobster Mac was okay. Very chewy with little to no sauce on most of the pasta. Waitress did not seem to care much about our table. I asked for bread and butter 3 times before another of the wait staff finally brought us some.

This is a really nice seafood restaurant in Plymouth next to Brown University. We stopped in for lunch. The interior is nicely decorated in a nautical theme with lots of wood finishes that remind me of the interior of an old sailing ship. The service here was amazing. Our server Danny was very attentive to our needs and provided a wealth of information about the extensive menu. He had a real down to earth approach to the job with just the right amount of humor injected into the conversation. He made us feel right at home. We had the Lobster Fishman Style and Scallops Oscar style. We finished off the meal with Baked Alaska. The presentation was not as dramatic as what you get at night but it was excellent

One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Very high end and a bit pricey but the food is always amazing and they always have a fine selection of local oysters. I've never had anything but excellent service every time I've been there.
