If I had made this post 5 years ago it would be 5 stars. I grew up in the area and used to come here all the time with family and it is some of my greatest childhood memories. Portions were large, price was perfect and service was top notch. Recently it has taken a turn for the worst. Portions have seemed to get smaller. They have changed some recipes. Prices have increased immensely, which many factors play into that I know, but for what you are getting now it doesn't add up. Service is still great though. Oh, also Patty Melt is still top notch!

2017 Good food, decent price. Homemade smoked sausage was amazing. Smoked pork was good. Enjoyed the onion soup. Fun sundae options. There is apparently always a wait, but it wasn't too bad! - Went again in 2020. Way more empty due to COVID. Sausage still amazing! Beef prices are up and a storm made it so some things were unavailable but the food was good and our waiter was great, even though it was late in the evening. - 2021 Back again on our MN-MO trip. Had the smoked sausage again, still yummy. Got salad and mac n cheese for sides. Nice sized salad for a side and mac was really cheesy. Wish I had room for dessert!

I never knew what I was missing until I came here. This place is HUGE and has all the best kind of menu options you can think of! Menu prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. HIGHLY recommend cheering 9 this place out!
