Probably The best Breakfast at Bethany Beach! Chances are there will be a wait, and trust me it’s worth it. Their food is seasonal and fresh. The omelettes are almost big enough for 2-3 people. And their stuffed French toast is a family favorite. This is not your typical diner food, come hungry.

The food here is so tasty and the staff is attentive and efficient. You never have to worry about them keeping you coffee filled as they take turns taking coffee to everyone’s table. The atmosphere is really neat being in an old train car. The first train car (the one further to the east) is much nicer than the second one so if you can chose the first train car. Please give this place a try as you will not be disappointed.

First off- The food was very good.
With that said- the wait time was horrible. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait to sit, ended up being 45. We then ordered right when we sat down and still had to wait an additional 40 minutes for our food. It’s too bad, because it’s a cool place with good food.. but if a family of four has to wait that long and all you’re told is “sorry about the wait”.. that tells me service is below average.

We tried this place on a whim, saw it was well reviewed and nearby. Surprised to find a diner in a refurbished train car! The place was nicely decorated and very clean, in fact the staff did a quick carpet sweep under the table after each guest.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She recommended a kielbasa omelet and my wife ordered the avocado toast off the specials. We were delighted with both. Everything was fresh and delicious, including the bread. Coffee was hot and tasted great black, not bitter but not weak either. My wife's hot chocolate was the real deal and very good. The potato latka was a standout, as thick as a slice of cake and filled with melted cheese.
The staff was plentiful for such a small operation, and they were all very attentive, helping out with each other's tables. When another guest spilt her water everywhere they quickly cleaned it up and offered her fresh food.
Overall our visit was positive and we look forward to returning.

Good breakfast/brunch spot. Only open until 2 pm, but we stopped here after a round of morning mini golf nextdoor and didn't have to wait long for a table. The kids got a kick out of dining in a train car. The service was excellent and staff friendly. All the food was very good, and we recommend the clam strips and burgers. The drinks we ordered were tasty (orange crush and bloody mary) and the food arrived quickly.
