Hubbard Park Biergarten is tied for my favorite in Milwaukee along with Estabrook. Super friendly service at the bar, really relaxing and 'enclosed' forested atmosphere, can be pretty packed on pleasant Friday evenings! (I went on both a Friday and Saturday - if you like lots of people, Friday is better, Saturday is slightly less crazy and there are more tables to choose from). Only thing is that it is $5 deposit or more for each glass they give you, so I think that is a little disappointing; you get it back of course, in the form of cash, but that feels a bit outdated. Hubbard Park-emblazoned glasses are for sale, if you want nice drinking memorabilia! I could spend my whole night here, so enjoyable on a good summer evening.

Nice to sit out in the park and sip a brew. Very nice. Great workers.
The real J Pepperman
Cool place. Could put in a little more effort for higher quality beers.

Lines were long but how can you resist a refreshing beer while enjoying the trail.
