Should be 10 stars. BEST ribs I have ever eaten. Best time is for lunch when there's a buffet. Excellent sides - potato salad, collard greens, slaw, green beans, dirty rice and many more. They also have smoked sausage a fried tenderloin. All GOOD! Several deserts if you have room. Everything there is home made.
A little out of the way place that's well worth stopping at.

When days of great service is a thing of the past they make it as great as the food!!!! The young ladies never let us go without napkins, drinks or anything else!!!!! What a great team they have.
Now the food is as good service every bite just gets better!!!! They do require you to have mask on at buffet and I completely respect that and they had one for people who didnt the ladies were very kind and sweet and explained it to people very well. Great job y'all!!!!!

Family run, black owned long standing business. The buffet is phenomenal but the dessert cakes were less to be desired! Buffet items include J Rodgers famous slow smoked ribs and crispy fried chicken. The sides included, candied yams, cabbage, greens, southern style corn bread and macaroni & cheese, just to name a few. We took the key lime cake and pound cake for the road, the key lime was ok but could have been more fresh and the pound cake had a bit too much spoiled milk in the mix!

Walked in sat down they asked me what I wanted to drink. I waited and waited and looked back and saw new customers come in and be seated and served their drinks before I was even given a menu. Never been here before and will never be going back

This was the most expensive dog food!!!! This was my first and last time going to this place, the food was hot which is the best thing that I can say about the order. I ordered a half rack and half a chicken paid 31.00 and was very disappointed. The ribs lacked the smoke and the chicken was very bland even with the BBQ sauce it tasted like it had been dipped in collard green juice and then covered with watery bbq sauce. The staff was nice and very professional. provided great service and very bad food.
