I would highly recommend Jethros in Ames! Their food is delicious, especially the bacon, mashed potatoes, and baked beans! Their wait staff are friendly! They have nice banquet rooms that could be used for a larger rehearsal dinner or party. The manager, Robert, is quick to respond to inquiries and will take good care of your group!

We tried this place today for the first time. The food was great and our server Emily was awesome. She explained everything on the menu and made suggestions that we wouldn't have realized on our own. We will definitely be returning

EDIT: First time back in 2 years. Just ruined the place. Remove half their seating, added a bunch of trash games to half the restaurant. Essentially removed half the building.
Hard pass, whatever genius came up with that should probably avoid designing in the future.

Food was okay but my boyfriend and I were seated and had to go to the bar to order drinks then ask a busser to send our waitress over. We went 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our orders and when she did arrive she said she didn't see us. Need to teach staff to keep eyes up. We initiated concern with multiple staff members who walked right past us or watched us get up from our table and go order at the bar.

More of an atmosphere for supper rather than lunch with loud but fun music. BBQ and sides were delicious. Fall of the bone ribs and really tasty variety of sauces. Service was quick and attentive.
