Can't speak on the dine-in aspect but, the carry out part of this restaurant Blows! Placed an order and was told 35 minutes, pulled up and 25 minutes later still hadn't received my order. What's the use of offering carry out if it takes over an hour to get a small order together?

Me and my wife tried Kent’s for the first time last night. They were extremely busy, we waited a bit to be sure we could get in, and during our time there, there were some people who had to wait for seating as well - but it is worth the wait if you like some good fish! I had the fish plate, my wife had a chicken tender plate. The fish was quite good quality, the hush puppies were very tasty, the slaw was apparently homemade, and even the tartar sauce was homemade. My wife enjoyed her chicken, and we were impressed that it seemed her Texas toast was made with homemade bread! Service was good, everyone was kind, and the whole meal only cost $26 for us both. I had seen that this place was highly recommended, but when I put it in our GPS, we ended up at their old location beside Smiths nursery (which was obviously vacant). When I called, I was told Google hadn’t updated their location, they are at 123 Industrial Park Road in Saltillo. Glad we found it, we definitely enjoyed our meal!

A wonderful place with great food and service. It’s a little off the beaten path, but so worth getting a taste of local flavor. Our family had fried shrimp and catfish, I opted for the grilled catfish, so delicious! Everyone loved their meal. Sides were amazing- fresh and prepared differently from the usual fare. Well worth a visit.
