Never disappointed here. Edit: 3 years later. I ordered something our server, Jamie, recommended. I didn't care for it, but it wasn't terrible. She kindly and unexpectedly comped my meal. She was bubbly, but professional is the reason we'll be back! Oh, the Moscow mule was delicious, though!

The atmosphere of the Mackinaws restaurant is the ultimate lodge experience from the lantern lighting to the taxidermy on the walls, and the warm feel of the fireplace.
The wait staff is extraordinary and super friendly.
We like the option to sit outside when weather allows, and of course, the food is great! We love the burgers and one of my favorites is the chicken quesdillas. Huge portion filled with deliciousness!
They offer a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, steaks, pastas, seafood, salads and wraps and so much more all at an affordable price!
There's even live music on Friday and Saturday when announced.

Decided to try Mackinaws while waiting for a doctor's appointment since it's down the road from the hospital. The ambiance is really nice, perfect place for a first date. The food, well, it was a bit pricey, but my feta spinach salad was super tasty. I recommend trying Mackinaws.

Very nice atmosphere, the service was awesome. Our waitress was so friendly and quick to get whatever we needed. The food was excellent. Would definitely recommend to stop in if your in town. 👍

We were seated immediately and out server arrived in several minutes. Our drink order took longer than normal. The restaurant was about half full as we waited for an hour for our food. At one point I was ready to go to the bar for another drink but I saw our server and flagged her down. When our food finally arrived it was apparent that it had sat under heat lamps for a while. Taste was OK but appearance was not pleasing. When the check came we noticed that a 3% charge was added to the bill for use of a credit card. The server spent 5 minutes trying to justify this charge. We had eaten at this restaurant 6-8 times a year. Not anymore.
