After having visited El Pepe's, the food here was just so-so. Their salsa is only flavored with cumin and no cilantro. Food was just OK. Prices were higher than El Pepe's, but the food was nowhere as tasty. This place might be good for large crowds, and the staff are very nice,even if a lille slow to serve because they are too busy flirting with each other to be attentive to the customers.
Update. Food quality and prices have both gone up.

The drinks.....Amazing! Great atmosphere. Great service! The food is typical Mexican fare, nothing special. The one ding I would give them, tell your customer's up from that you are charging for the house made guacamole. It a bit of a surprise to see an additional charge for something you didn't know cost extra! I'm sure it is in the menu but often times you haven't had a chance to look closely before they ask.

8 month later update, I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Hands down the golden standard for service in a restaurant.

Service was great and drinks were great, but the food was so so. Not as I expected because I've been here before and was pretty satisfied, but something about the food was just not completely right and the portions were sooo big! The parking was also a total bother! You'd think with how busy Margarita Factory gets they should have a bigger parking lot. I had to park way down the street. Overall I'd say 3/5, but again...the service was pretty amazing!

The food was some of the best we've had in a while. Good food is worth paying for and we know the cost of food is spiraling upward. House margarita (32 ounce) was very good but a 'lil pricey at $18. What we were shocked by was the cost of the sodas - $3.30 each! Even with soda prices, this restaurant deserves a 5 star rating.
