As always, SoDel restaurants do not disappoint! My family and I dined at Matt's Fish Camp yesterday and it was a great experience. Somehow we got seated right away, which was a bonus. We ordered two appetizers, two main dishes (my husband and I had the blackened swordfish), and two kids' meals. All the food was excellent -- especially the swordfish and the broiled oyster appetizer we got -- and came out piping hot. Our server was kind and attentive and took great care of us. Overall, an awesome meal with great ambiance that was worth every penny ... which honestly can be pretty hard to come by in many beach towns. We love this place and appreciate the quality of the food and attention to detail in all that they do. Can't wait to visit again!

You know I was pleasantly surprised with this place. It was very clean very neat and very organized. The wait staff was very responsive. The food was very good. They were a little bit in a hurry to move us along because there were so many people waiting. But overall I think it was great and we will visit again.

Tonight was our first visit to Matt's Fish Camp in Fenwick Island. Stopped in at about 8pm and were told we would have about a 30-45 minute wait, but we were seated within 15 minutes. Our server Marina, was very sweet and very efficient. The appetizer we ordered didn't arrive before our dinner did, so we cancelled it. One of the drinks we ordered from the bar was tasteless, but gladly replaced. Additionally, one of our dinners was barely luke warm when it arrived. It was delicious, but it simply sat too long before being brought to our table. My wife's crab cakes were excellent. I expressed my concern to Marina who was extremely apologetic and offered to return it to the kitchen. Shortly after, the manager stopped at our table to apologize and couldn't have been any nicer or sincere. Because of their true concern for our dining experience, we'll definitely be stopping back for another try!

This was our first time there, and we were not disappointed. The seafood seemed fresh and the presentation of of our dishes was beautiful. It's a modern cheerful looking place, but pretty loud. Although I saw a few children in there, I don't think this restaurant is geared towards children. We will definitely return.

Matt's Fish Camp was awesome. Service was stellar and friendly, the place was decorated very tastefully and it was noticeably clean, the bathrooms even smelled good. The food was fantastic and fresh, we got the crab cakes and calamari. Everything was 5 stars, even the sauces and pickles. The orange vanilla in house soda was very good. Will be back next time we are in DE.
