I initially had a 4 star review, but they have improved since my first visit. I've been back a handful of times, and the service has been perfect every time. The food has also been perfect every time.

The food and service at Max’s Bistro is phenomenal! We had their mussels appetizer and their crab enchiladas and lobster burrito. The crab enchiladas were fresh and filling. The lobster burrito, one of Max’s specialties, was marvelous. Highly recommend you check out this local favorite and support this amazing family owned restaurant.

It wasn't overwhelming. Expensive for an average meal. It smells a little too fishy for my liking even for a seafood place. The tacos were good but the calamari was over cooked by a mile.

Fantastic food! I love my Wisconsin cheeseburger and pizza places but you need variety and Max's is just that. Great fish tacos and Margherita happy hour is no joke.
