Popped in to Maxwells tonight for a quick dinner. It’s nice big restaurant with a pretty cool bar. I was the first diner of the night and just popped a seat at the bar. I started off with their daily soup, which was a dill lemon chicken soup. It was absolutely delicious. I’m going to remake this dish one of these days. Just tons of chicken and amazingly balanced flavors. For my main entree, I order the lobster fettuccine. The saffron Parmesan sauce is tasty. The lobster was cooked perfectly. It was a well composed dish. This is definitely a date spot or a place to celebrate an event. Would recommend to anyone.

It is always such a pleasure to have diner at Maxwells: Best wine selection. Loved the escargots and the lamb. Great service... what can I say, I just love the place! For me, the best restaurant in town.

The owner Ramon was charming. The food didn’t miss a beat. The bison meatballs were a great compliment to the soup. The port selection was definitely a draw. They carry a 40 year old Port. Worth the trip just to sip on some of the port offerings. The ambiance is warm and inviting.

Once again a top notch meal. Never fails to impress. Clearly the best fine dining establishment in the Fargo-Moorhead area. I had Chilean sea bass which I had never had before. Unbelievable! The wife had a rib eye and then we ended the night with Chocolate Lava cake. Nothing that I can criticize about any part of the meal!

We dined at Maxwells for the first time this evening! It was Awesome! Our waitperson, Charity, was number one cute and so efficient. She brought the food at the perfect time and it was delicious. The tenderloin steak was done to perfection. I would have to say don’t have the ribeye until they get a more substantial cut. I have eaten at the finest restaurants in my former life and Maxwells is one I would consider to be one of them! We’ll be back❣️
