After years of hearing about how great this establishment is I finally visited today and it went beyond my expectations. The food was amazing. We shared a pork taco and a brisket taco and they were so tender and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was some of the best we’ve had and our only disappointment with the baked beans was that we wished that we had bought a second order lol. John was also a pleasure to talk to. One of the friendliest people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a while. We highly recommend!

Pretty good barbecue, moderately pricey. Sadly, they were out of ribs, which probably means that they're very good or they don't make very many. Hopefully it's because they are very good. They were also out of broccoli salad.
We tried the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket taco, with mac and cheese and baked beans and peaches.
All in all it was decent. I was a little disappointed that the barbecue sauce was not homemade, but Sweet baby Ray's. The brisket was just a little bit dry and definitely needed the coleslaw to help. The mac and cheese was decent but the burnt top was too much.

I ordered the Ribs, and they were amazing. The best Ribs I ever had. The wife had brisket taco, and she loved it. Sides of Mac and cheese and peach baked beans were great. If you love barbecue, you have to come here.

The food here is so good. There's a limited menu, but you'll be wowed by the taste. It's a bit small with limited seating and there's only the owner working, but it's totally worth it. I highly recommend Meat Mechanics!

The owner is the is the one ya see back behind the counter hustle'n out the orders & feels like your favorite uncle. The pulled pork taco with cole slaw and peach baked beans is a must have! The brisket taco with blue cheese looks damn good too! Gonna be a food stop everytime I'm in Dover
