The food is fresh, authentic, and the portions are huge. We have found "our spot" for a great Italian restaurant. There is also a great story of how this family owned restaurant expanded over the years. The people in the murals in the restaurant are family members. Also as they expanded each time a window became a doorway into the next portion of the restaurant. There's a saying that, "when God closes a door he opens a window", but don't tell that to the family at Mimmo's, because they will see that window and create another door, an opportunity to expand their business, work hard for the American dream, and give the people of Berks County the opportunity to dine on amazing Italian dishes, and delicious drinks.

awesome food!! I keep trying to take a picture of my meal, but as soon as it comes, I dive right in! Food is the best, waitstaff is on point! Very friendly and courteous. Beautiful place, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Stop in... you won't be sorry!

Hard to find a better salad in town. Huge portions. Good ingredients. First time last week. Will be back. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. We took a recommendation of a friend to stop here and we don't regret it at all.
