What a gem of a restaurant. I have driven past here numerous times on my way to Greenville and it has been on my list of places to try. Fortunately a friend suggested we meet there for dinner and I jumped at the chance. It was busy, but not crowded, on a Wednesday evening. They were more than accommodating with some of our dietary restrictions, although we did have to send one item back to have the breadcrumbs left off even though my friend had already identified as gluten free. But other than that, the dinner was so lovely, and the atmosphere was amazing! I can't wait to go back and enjoy the outdoor bar area on a weekend. The greens on my salad were obviously fresh from the farm, and they made a point of explaining how much they focus on hyper local (if not grown on their farm, then sourced within 20-30 miles, with the exception of seafood). The presentation was lovely and the portions were well sized, but not overwhelming. Can't wait to return to share this hidden gem.

It’s not just a dinning, it’s home…. Love the place because they serve you with love, care and respect… the meals fills not just your Tommy but your heart as well… you get what you deserve and more… thanks oak hill… you are one of the bests in town!

Our food took over an hour to come out because the waiter forgot to put in our order. Once he did we should have been moved to the front of the line but instead waited another 30 minutes for our food. This is not the first time the customer service has not been ideal and we have waited a while for our food. We did get compensated for our meal, which was nice. We keep coming back because we love the food but after this last experience I don’t know that we will be back any time soon.

I had breakfast at the Oak Hill Cafe on Father's day. It is a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. The fresh squeezed orange juice was fantastic. They also have a cute little bar here. Check this place out when visiting Greenville.

You know the problem when a restaurant prices their food to high is that the customer anticipates the food to be as good as what they are paying for. We went for lunch, maybe dinner is better, and I ordered the special beef cheeseburger with cheddar and special bacon with a fancy in house aioli sauce on a house made bun and a side salad. The beef was great. The bun was good and it was grilled perfectly. The side salad, especially for a restaurant that boasts growing their own vegetables in the garden in the back, was pretty pathetic. I got a side of lettuce basically that I covered with a vinaigrette sauce they make. The dressing was basically the only thing that made the salad edible. My wife got tacos that the waiter boasted would be amazing. She said the taste was good but again we overpaid for the tacos as there was only about a table spoon of filling in each tortilla so we ended up having to go find more to eat after we left this restaurant. So, to sum up, they could be good if they paid more attention to detail and offered a better value for their customers.
