The food was delicious, the service excellent. The boa buns were so delicious we wished we had ordered , at least one each! The scallops sweet and tender. The steak cooked as requested, served with the most delicious broccoli I have ever eaten on an enormous plate big enough for several people. Before leaving I said this restaurant was now my favorite.
Having said that:
Two negatives. We went on a Thursday night and the music was so loud we couldn't hear one another speak when the musicians were playing.
The second negative and a BIG one is that two of our family who shared a fish entree got very sick during the night. The owner was advised the following morning.
While I loved the food and service I haven't decided whether I am comfortable eating there again.

Top-notch dining experience, with excellent service. Great environment, with an open kitchen serving as the back of the restaurant. Be aware that the menu does not make any reference to gluten-free, and on the night we visited the non-pork and non-red-meat menu options were extremely limited. Best to check their website for the menu, which appears to be kept nicely up-to-date. Everything we ordered was perfect. Best creme brulee I've had in Vermont.

Charming locale to celebrate the biggest and littlest events. From the stunning cocktails to the decadent bites, this is a must visit restaurant!
We visited during dinner, but will definitely be back to sample the brunch menu. Get the Bao buns and octopus - you won’t be disappointed!
Can’t wait to return and sit outside, watching night fall over Montpelier.

The. Best. Meal. I've. Ever. Had. I am not a huge seafood fan typically and I loved EVERYTHING we ate. General Tso's Octopus. Scallops. Oysters. And amazing service!
Also had the best gnocchi of my life. I cannot write enough about this great restaurant in downtown Montpelier.

Soft shell bao bun was excellent, I enjoyed it very much. Scallop and pork belly was good. The steak was slightly overdone (not medium rare as ordered). Chocolate desert was a mousse with strawberries and raspberries for nice ending that was not too sweet.
They have a nice outdoor area - 4 or 5 tables under umbrellas. They protect from the sun but not rain.
