The service is of course perfect, and the ambiance is very nice. We had the cheese plate, which was lovely. My son had the ravioli and loved it. I had the soft-shell crab and thought it should have been crispy rather than soggy as it was unfortunately. I had the flounder and felt I could have made it at home. We had the cheesecake and the chocolate for dessert and both were absolutely delicious. We'll be back.

Don't often give 5 stars. Great high tier food. Prideful service. Sensational wine program. A wonderful evening out.

The food was delicious, staff was friendly. The menu changes frequently, so check out the menu on the website before you go. Very enjoyable experience.

The restaurant itself is lovely and has a pleasant atmosphere. We were seated at a nice window table with fresh flowers. The service was decent.
Our server was a little slow between check-ins and forgot flatware and a few details of our order. Nothing necessarily bad and he was still polite and friendly.
The food was good. I had the mini biscuits which were delicious! Loved them so much. Flakey and rich and savoury. The other meal items were good.
I also had the shrimp, for which the breading was incredible. Perfectly seasoned, but the shrimp itself was over cooked (a little rubbery). The sauce and seasoning made up for it! Yum.
I wasn’t crazy about the duck, and the dessert was good but the flavor was a bit off for me. Might just be personal preference.
Overall, I spent about $100 for two people which is fair and expected (no alcoholic drinks).
I plan to return to try other menu items, as I’m sure the other dishes are good and worth trying. Will update my review at that time.

Our waitress seemed really irritated we were there, which was so awkward when we heard the absolutely lovely server at the next table over explaining the menu and being generally jovial and kind. Going to a nice dinner is always soured by bad service. Also — ask for their liquor price before ordering…my date ordered an Angel’s Envy old fashioned and was charged $27! Comical since a bottle of Angel’s is like $50.
Overall was SO excited to try out this restaurant after going to UNC a few years ago. The pastas were lovely (very small), but we won’t be returning for weirdly overpriced cocktails, small portions, and to have a grumpy waitress ruin a date with cold service.
