We have been here several times and it was great. We went Sunday night to celebrate a late Mother’s Day - it was not good at all. The waiter was great but the food was not. We ordered 2 appetizers- the stuffed mushrooms were dry. We ordered salads with beef and steak tips were over cooked. I asked for rare. The kids got a few different items - mussels- bowl of plain pasta along with a couple more items. The plain pasta was requested with nothing on it - it came with olive oil and each bowl was $9. I can understand that price if it had any kind of topping but plain pasta? I am not sure what went wrong but it was very disappointing-

Outstanding dinner last night. Brought some friends and all our meals were hot and tasted great. The halibut special really was amazing. We go here quite a bit and they never disappoint!

I went to pick up my order today, total was $49.37. The girl said "you're all set". I said I had change coming, her answer was they didn't give change & rounded it up. That's illegal first of all. I said I wanted my change which she gave me. I ordered 2 salads, got home & I had mussels & 2 shrimp meals. I called to speak to the manager who wasn't available (they weren't that busy). I've been going here 3-4 times a month & my friend & I always get the same drink & salad which Kristen always takes care of. The prices for food & drink have increased too much & the staff (besides Kristen & Janelle) are rude.
They called me the next day and apologised and said the next meal is on them. That was nice but the staff needs addressing. I can sit at a restaurant, on the water, in Newburyport and be charged less. I still feel prices are too high there.

We have been going to On the Corner since this place opened and have been very happy with the food. As of lately I have found their customer service to go downhill and their management to be poor. A kids meal that is advertised online for $8.95 came out $15.00 on the bill, when questioned about it they not only had an attitude but stated that the chicken fingers were hand breaded and the fries were hand cut and that it was a large portion. I understand that prices have increased but to hide this fact and not be up front about this price increase and then not handle the situation properly was in poor taste. I hope this changes but next time for a family outing we will be going elsewhere.

We only found out about this restaurant earlier in the day. A completely random conversation. Wow. Great neighborhood vibe with an incredible menu, not something I see that often. It will take many visits to explore their menu in detail. Looking forward to my next visit to begin that exploration.
