Short version: I loved everything about this restaurant.
Long version: The Parkway Diner is the ideal restaurant. It has an inviting atmosphere and a pleasing old-school aesthetic. The staff is professional and friendly, and it has a good home town everybody knows everybody feel to it.
They were very busy, yet the food came out fast, and beautiful prepared. Everything was delicious and well worth the price. Notably, in my opinion, the coffee was good too. I've come to expect below average coffee, at best, anywhere I get breakfast and was pleasantly surprised otherwise today.
The only potential drawback I can think if is that the dining area is a little small, with tables big enough to seat 4. I had no trouble as I dined alone this morning. I sat at the bar and am very tall. My legs didn't really fit, but I was still pretty comfortable and everything else was so good I didn't mind a bit.
This restaurant is absolutely my go-to option from now on any time I find myself in the area.

Delicious food! They have fresh made gluten free bread. It was amazing. We had a minor issue with our order that was swiftly taken care of. Would highly recommend

We've been delighted with two Parkway Diner meals in one week. The classic eggs benedict was perfect. Our second trip was meant to try their club sandwich, but they were only serving from the breakfast menu. A quick pivot to corned beef hash plate was just fine, especially with their homemade English muffin.

I was looking forward to eating here, hearing about all the good food people have had there. I ordered the falafel plate with fries and my wife ordered the California Benedict. The main part of the meal was good, but my meal did not come with the fries I requested and came with a wilted lettuce salad with no dressing at all. Seems like my order with fries went to another table. When I asked for the order of fries, I was told they might not want to make them- this all happened at lunch time. My wife’s home fries could have been cooked a little longer, they were tough. And when asked about dessert, they were completely out except for ice cream.

My son and I had lunch at the Parkway Diner this afternoon. HUGE disappointment. Very small portion of what was supposed to be hash and eggs with potatoes was very greasy. The hash (that wasn't really any kind of hash) was over fried on top of 4 small (Maybe 3/4" square.)cubes of potato. For $14.00, I expected a lot better lunch. My son was reasonably satisfied with his high priced filafil sandwich and over fried fries.
Total bill was $28.00 + a $4.00 tip. NOT WORTH IT.
The waitress was very sweet.
