My wife and I went to the Peddler this evening for our anniversary. We were seated without menus and we had to ask for them. We also had to ask what the”specials” were. We would not have known about them if we hadn’t overheard another server promoting them. I wanted rare prime rib but was told that only medium to well done was available. We both ordered the ribeye. Mine was cooked properly but my wife’s was under cooked and had to send it back. Our server only checked on us twice after we had ordered. We have been going to the Peddler to celebrate special occasions for quite some time now and usually the service and food is second to none. With the cost of the entrees, drinks, etc, you would think that exceptional service would be standard. Maybe it was just an off night. But it definitely made our special day a little less special. We will probably give it another try sometime. Hopefully, it will improve.

Had such great customer service from the moment we walked in by the host, the waiter, and the bartender who served us our wine. Def the best steak and food seasoned just perfectly! and I thought Halls chop House was good this place is 10 times better NO DOUBT!

This place is top notch. Been coming over the years and have enjoyed each and every time. Excellent meat choices along with great service. Well worth the visit for anyone.

Best steaks, salad bar and service; we go there often; for ribeye ask for tail on for the extra fatty goodness and ask for toast. The peddler is back to his normal usual greatness. Only bummer is they don't do toast anymore.

This Peddler Steak House is absolutely Excellent. I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is great in an 100+ year old house. The food is delicious and Michele fixes the best Long Island Tea and Margaritas. The rib eye steak is cut right at your table so you can get the cut you like. It is then expertly prepared. It is excellent. The loaded baked potato is perfect. The salad was delicious. They are famous for their salad bar which is currently not open; however, I thought the salad they fixed was perfect. This is currently my very favorite restaurant and it is not close to where I live. It is worth driving 55 or so miles to.
