I am deathly allergic to red wine vinegar. Whenever I visit a new restaurant, I inquire about their use of it in food I am interested in trying.
The waitress asked the cook. No red wine vinegar used in ANY of their dishes. Only white vinegar. Yay!
Food was delicious! I don't usually eat white rice. That said, I made an exception because the sauce was so tasty. I just had to eat it!
Service was excellent and timely. Sat outside with a friend and her dog. The waitress brought out a bowl of water for her pooch. So very thoughtful!
Food was also well-priced. The peach hard candy for dessert was just right, too.
Looking forward to eating there again!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a very good Vietnamese restaurant in Vermont, they are slowly popping up. People who think Chinese food and Vietnamese food have many similarities have never had Vietnamese food. There is a freshness and the flavors are of fresh herbs and potent flavored brats trauma there is no comparison aside from the fact that they both have noodles and rice, however just about every food culture has noodles and rice so do not believe the Chinese and Vietnamese are the same thing. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant out, I guarantee you will not be upset.

Awesome as always. This ranks in the top two of my favorite Montpelier restaurants. The food here is delicious and authentic. The staff is always welcoming and kind. The restaurant is owned and run by a family. The prices are more than fair and the portions are generous.

We went there on a Friday night. The place is pretty small and it was pretty packed. There's no waiting area, so it's a little awkward when you first walk in (right into the seating area).
The service was great and the staff was very friendly.
The food was decent and at a very reasonable price. My daughter thought the food was AWESOME!!!
We will definitely go there again. I hope they can somehow rearrange the layout to avoid the awkward entrance.

I received numerous recommendations for this restaurant so maybe my expectations going in were high but this place seems to me to be the definition of "meh". It's a very odd, poorly set-up space inside and the dining area could really use a good deep clean. Old, dried, food splatter on the walls-gross! Good menu, very reasonable prices. Food was attractive; and although bland, tasted fine. Delicious thai ice tea. The young waitress was quite busy and was working hard so I am excusing the slow, poor service. I would recommend for take-out if you aren't too picky but I would never recommend dining-in.
