I travel all over the USA and very rarely do I find a place like this where every single detail is perfect! The greeter at front was delightful, the fish fry was outstanding! Service was excellent! The decor is homey and clean, the French fries and the sweet potato fries were piping hot and so fresh! They had two types of fresh fish so we chose the blue fin and it was so tasty. The waitress brought my friend Greg a slice of prime rib because he wanted to try it!!! Their prices are reasonable, and to top it off… their homemade rhubarb/strawberry pie was outstanding! I think next time I’m anywhere near this place I’ll make a special trip to Port Washington! This place is a hidden gem right off the highway! The locals that told us about it were right. Get in your car and go there. Well worth leaving that beautiful seaport town to drive 5 minutes here!

I was there Saturday night with my family. I waited almost an hour for a NY strip steak that I ordered medium. It came raw. I’m not talking rare. Blood red and cold other than the outer 1/8”. Sent it back and it came back as a truly horrible steak. I had my mom try it to make sure I wasn’t being overly picky and she spit it out. Tough, chewy and an off flavor. The steak was taken off the bill and for that I am appreciative. After so many people told me so many good things I assume that this was a rare occurrence, but I will not be going back.

Every time I've gone here the food is always fantastic and all the waitstaff is very attentive! Make sure to order the prime rib on Saturday night and the hershey bar torte for dessert, AMAZING!!!
