We used to enjoy this place. Food is good. Service is so so BUT the kicker for us recently is the outrageous price increases. My husband and I sat at the bar. We had 3 drinks each, appetizer, salad with bison, burger & Fries. Our bill was $150 😱 We just had the exact same meal at another local establishment, Food was better and bill was 1/2 the price. I hope the pricing strategy doesn’t back fire on you.

This restaurant is our absolute go-to! We come most every Thursday evening and always have a great meal, cocktails and conversation. The regulars are always fun conversationalists and the bartenders and waiters always make you feel like you are the most important customer in their restaurant. I love this place!!!

Have had Thanksgiving & now Easter dinner at the Rising Sun. Both menus were unique & the selections offered were executed perfectly. Well rounded choice of items in each menu, from appetizers, entrees & desserts. Staff was attentive & professional. I had the bison ( what they are known for) for Thanksgiving & it was prepared perfectly. Good eat. I had the lamb for Easter & again I was not disappointed in its preperation. Looking forward to continuing our holiday meals with Rising Sun.

Went to their wine paring on May 19th. Food was excellent. Wines superbly pared. Suggest that before they distribute the wine, make sure all wine portions are even when distributed.
There were 3 guest at the table, the first 2 wine parings, white, were all evenly poured. The last 2 wine parings red; with main meal and dessert; 2 pours were close to even, unfortunately the 3rd persons glass, was considerably and noticeably short.
Look forward to attending future parings.

The Rising Sun Inn never fails to delight me. I have to admit, the crab cakes I had went well beyond saying they were merely delightful. Heavenly would be a more appropriate description.
