We decided to take a nice little drive into Kenosha just to grab a bite. When I did a Google search this was the first place that came up. We decided to go with it. I'm glad we made this choice because we were definitely not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing and they had Spotted Cow on tap!

Thought would give them another chance.
Went back again, we're having drinks at the bar with my date having a very pleasant time, ran into other friends at the bar, very positive experience so far, we're going to order some food also but was asked to leave because they allegedly had reservations at the bar. This is the first time I've ever been to a place and was asked to leave when drinking expensive alcohol and would have eaten at the bar, the Host also said there was a two hour wait in the dining room and it was half empty! It's a mind-boggling business plan to kick out paying patrons, was very embarrassed with my date. Always thought it was first serve situation rather than asking someone to leave with a phantom reservation in place is not exactly the best business model to follow...
So we walked a few stores down to Wine Knot, we're immediately served and had a delicious meal!
The most disappointing service can think of in recent history!
It was a nice night, a friend of mine and I sat at a table outside and the hostess woman bumped us, because she said the table was reserved, so we moved to the end table. Nobody ever came out to take our order, so went into the bar area and stood for several minutes and nobody came over, now went over to another opening on the other side and waited several more minutes and then the bartender said she didn't have any glasses, continued to wait and she waited on several other people even though they're were glasses that she could have washed... Finally gave up and sat back outside, by the way the table that we were bumped from no one ever came and sat down for it.
So basically was there for just under an hour and was never asked if we wanted anything...

Been here between 2 and 7000 times, give or take. Drinks are creative if you care to go that route, but your standard Manhattan or vodka- soda plain-Jane drinks are made with just as much care as the craft cocktails. Staff is lit, music every night, outdoor dining in the warm months. Pretty much the only place I care to go on the regular.

Stopped here for brunch on Fathers Day while in town for a tournament. Walked in without a reservation and the staff was so accommodating even though they were full. Had great service and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Had the goat cheese omelet and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was delish! Would definitely go back next time we’re in town.

Had the fried Pheasant. It was probably the best dinner I've ever had. The batter was crisp and delicious, the Pheasant was moist, the dumplings were excellent as was the apple bacon jam
