The food is amazing. We walked in without a reservation (just to see if we could get a table) and the hostess suggested that we make one in the future and the chances of us getting a table were slim (just because it would require a canceled reservation). We decided to wait 30 min to see if anything would open up. The hostess said that she was able to seat us for an hour (open spot in between reservations). Totally worth it and so glad she was able to seat us! We didn't feel rushed and wanted to make sure we paid and finished within that hour because of the accommodation.
This is one of my favorite spots - food is amazing, staff is friendly, the vibe/environment is great, and really clean!
If you want to eat here make a reservation because I got really lucky 😃

Amazing! The sushi is the best you are going to find. It's so fresh! Their roles are very well put together. They aren't over sauced or loaded with garbage. It's real quality sushi! And the staff is amazing. I reccomend sitting at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs are amazing people! Literally my favorite place to go eat!

The best sushi I have found in AZ. Reservations highly recommended. The sushi quality is beyond reproach. Service gets the job done. The sushi bar chefs are fun, talkative and communicative about the food. The price is worth it for the quality if you value top notch sushi.

We met friends for dinner on a Tuesday evening, and enjoyed the fare very much. The mushroom salad was flavorful and delicious, as were the fried oysters, sake clams, and grilled mackerel which was exceptional. I had the Chirashi which displayed a nice variety of fresh fish on a bed of rice. Our server was cordial and attentive. The layout of the restaurant is interesting... we were in a small room with two other tables separate from the main dining area and sushi bar. Still, the noise level was quite high, and it was difficult to hear the people at our table when they spoke at a normal inside level. All in all, a very good dining experience.

If you want cheap Japanese food, do not come here.
Now if you want excellent authentic Japanese food, this is the the place to go! The sushi is fresh and flavorful, the rice is not too much and is seasoned authentically. The Tempura was awesome. I knew it was fresh when the lady brought it out, she still had a little batter on the hand, I knew that she fresh made the batter for the batch. Overall very good food. Excellent value if you find flavor and texture of utmost importance. Again, this is no conveyor belt, cheap sushi place. It is pricey but the quality meets and exceeds the price/value.
