Stopped in for the first time and asked the gentleman at the counter what he would recommend. He suggested my choice of meat along with the beans and rice, plantain, and some sauces. It was a great suggestion. Food was great!! First time trying and it does not disappoint. Was so eager to try that I even forgot to take a picture.

My lunch was incredible. Price was perfect for the amount of food.

I probably should've exited the place when a child asked me what I wanted to order. First lady walked out, looked in my the eyes and didn't greet me. I ordered 2 meals, tasso turkey and oxtail. The turkey was not tasso, it was huge fried pieces of turkey and it was EXTREMELY SALTY and the rice was hard and some of it was gratin. The oxtail cost me $20 and it had 3 pieces in it. It looks nothing like what's on their menu to the point that I questioned an older child (who was also working there) if it was actually oxtail. The oxtail is not a meat for the meal, it is a stew (bouyon). I've never had Haitian oxtail like that before. They filled the bowl up with veggies to make it seem like a lot but you only get 3 pieces of oxtail for $20. Overall, I am beyond disappointed that I drove over 30 minutes and spent about $40 for that. I should stick with the Haitian restaurant that I'm used to but this one got me with the good reviews. My suggestion: hire some good cooks and adults to answer your phones and take your orders.

5 stars for flavor and quantity of food. This place is for when we say that we’re tired of eating the same things. It’s not Jamaican Caribbean, it’s Haitian Caribbean food. You’ll feel like someone’s grandma made you a plate of food. It’s a must try
