My husband, two young children, and myself visited from out of town. The waitress came around initially to get the drink orders, but my husband and oldest were at the bathroom. She suggested waiting until they return, which wasn't a problem. They returned after a few minutes, but it took our waitress about 10-15 to come back. She apologized, and things were fine. We ordered our drinks, a starter (cheddar fries), and food (we all got burgers) at that time. We waited about 30 minutes before any of our food came, and before we saw our waitress again. She never came around to check to see if we needed any refills, or to give a status on our food and what seemed to be a delay. When she brought out our food, there was no apology for the wait. Once we received our main courses, my husband asked about our cheddar fries, and she said she forgot about those. We then asked for her to not worry about them since we waited so long. The food was good, but extremely disappointed in the service. What was a little more frustrating was that another woman in jeans came around to ask if we wanted dessert, we declined, then got our check within seconds. They seemed more interested in getting us out than providing good service.

Great Happy Hour at the bar! We had delicious bar foods and very, very cold draft beers with a very nice bartender to serve us. We had lunch here recently and the food and service were excellent. This is definitely one of my favorite Rehoboth Beach places to eat and drink.

Good place with good food. If you like classic American cuisine it's perfect. Dishes they serve are well crafted, elegant and done with a level of finesse. Really enjoyed everything we ordered.
The only thing that was odd and uncomfortable was changing station for kids. It was inside the smallest stall in the ladies bathroom right above the toilet.. quite an experience..
So unless you're going there to change small infants you should have a good time.

I wish I could have had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant this Father's day with my husband, wheelchair bound mother and 3 month old baby daughter but your front of house staff were not accommodating to our special needs. When entering we were asked to leave our stroller outside. I then explained that she is only 3 months she is physically on able to sit on her own, when the naive host offered me a highchair or booster seat. Despite my child's circumstances they did not offer any realistic accommodations which we would have needed due to my mother requiring a handicap accessible table anyway. It is disappointing that on a day celebrating parenthood that we were treated with such discrimination. Luckily, we went down the street to another restaurant and they were able to accommodate us in a kind way so the night was not totally ruined.

I normally love Summer House but I think the waitress forgot about me. Took about 40 minutes after ordering to get my food. 2 sets of people got there order about 10 minutes after ordering. I also thought the house tacos came with 3 but I only got 2. I left hungry.
