I had a great experience at Tandem. A buddy and I grabbed a seat at the bar for our meal, but could have been seated inside or outside at a table if we wanted. For the middle of the week Tandem had a nice crowd but was not overly packed.
We shared the steak and ribs for 2 and grabbed a few beers. The steak was prepared medium and cooked to perfection. The ribs were excellently seasoned and cooked as well. We struggled to finish both of them and all of the sides. We're not small men so the portions were a good amount I would say.
I'll definitely be back as this was my first time.

Most restaurants are suffering a shortage of staff. Usually this problem will falsely translate as poor service. Tandem restaurant is equipped and set up to be a great restaurant. And when properly staffed, I believe that is exactly what you will get; great service and a memorable experience. I will be back at a different time and day.
I could tell that the staff were a little stressed; but still each and every one made a conscious effort to put their best foot forward. Stay tuned. I will try them again.

Good food and atmosphere. Please note however that some of the prices have changed but they have not updated their menu accordingly. For example, my entree was listed as $27 but I was charged $34. They adjusted it for me when I pointed out the discrepancy, but the response was not like "oh yes sorry let me fix that for you" but rather "would you like me to talk to the manager about that?" Not informing your customers of price changes and just sliding the extra charges into the check is a bit sketchy IMO. I bet a lot of people don't even notice. Five stars for the food but one demerit for the menu issue.

Food was in fact delicious but the service was absolutely horrible. Waitress didn't come to our table for about 10 minutes. I was so thirsty for water. She seemed overwhelmed, out of it, confused and not interested in being a good server. Our cappuccinos were brought to the table with no spoons or sugar. She took 10 more minutes to check on us so our coffee was cold by the time she brought the sugar. Had to stir with a fork. There was no salt and pepper on the table, so my man had to eat his eggs without it. She didn't check on us enough at all. There were only 2 other tables sat on the patio, so I don't know why we were neglected. We had to ask other waiters and staff for missing items and our check. This waitress should be fired! It's hard to be kind and generous when someone can't even do their job. The card payment gave me the option to leave 20% or above, so I selected my own tip and did not leave 20% like I am accustomed to. If you don't want to serve your tables and give a good experience for those who made it all the way to your restaurant, you do not deserve to be tipped well at all. Tandem, please train your staff properly in order to make you establishment a desirable dining experience all around.

Beautiful place, very attentive, and pleasant staff. Food was prepared very well and the presentation of every dish has a rustic art to it. Very impressed and will come back.
