***how does the owner of this restaurant with truly great food not recognize that his staff member is driving away not only myself/my family but the other 10+ patrons who left negative service related reviews prior to mine? It’s very clear when this employee started working for this establishment as you can see exactly when the negative reviews began! Such a shame but you will continue to lose customers!
We have been loyal and returning customers to Taqueria Atexquita for well over a year now. Food is great. Service leaves a lot to be desired. The shorter gentlemen behind the counter is not friendly when calling to place your order. Our order has been not correct several times when the order is placed through him. Tonight our order was incorrect yet again and he proceeded to argue with me on the phone when in reality he couldn’t pull his attention away from the gentlemen/friends of his at the restaurant/bar long enough to take our order correctly. I will say, the woman who is there is always very friendly and nice to deal with and our order seems to be correct when placed through her! Beware!

Went looking for an small family owned type locations, very small area to dine in. Didn't get a chance too enjoy the food. I'll preorder next time

I live in northern New Jersey but if I’m in Delaware or have to pass to Delaware I make sure I stop here for these authentic Mexican tacos

The front counter guy is unprofessional. I ordered over the phone, went to pick up my food and was told he forgot to put it in. Ok, I reorder and waited paid for my food. He comes back up and says he found my previous order and that I ordered 5 quesadillas. I said no I ordered 1 and he insisted I pay 75.00 for his mistake. I told him no. I finally get my order and check to make sure nothing is missing and I'm missing 3 tacos. I tell him this and he tries to charge me again for the tacos, so again I said no. I pull out the menu and to make sure I paid correctly and my order and I was over charged 7.50 for the missing tacos. By the time he was done going back and forth my food was cold. I've had bad experiences with this guy in the past but always thought maybe it was a bad day. After today we will never return.
